Pension Plan

mini´«Ã½ employees are enrolled in the New Brunswick Public Service Shared Risk Plan (PSSRP), a defined benefit pension plan designed to provide secure retirement income.

Key Features

Eligibility

Employees become eligible for pension benefits after completing the earlier of:

• Five years of continuous employment, or
• Two years of membership in the PSSRP, including any membership in predecessor plans.

Retirement Options

• Early Retirement: Available as early as age 55, with benefits payable until age 65.
• Deferred Retirement: Option to defer pension commencement until age 65 to receive an unreduced pension.

Part-Time Pension Plan

Part-time employees have the option to join our pension plan, with matching contributions from mini´«Ã½. It’s a simple way to invest in your future, with flexibility that fits your needs.

Retirement Transfers

Vested pension funds can be moved to a registered retirement plan when you're ready, giving you continued control and security in the years ahead.

• Merit based salary and cost of living increases annually
• 75% employer-paid health benefits, including prescription and medical expenses

• A minimum of 3 weeks’ vacation plus paid annual holidays.
